Baikal. Fishing on the rivers the Great Chivyrkuy and Tompuda

Largest Lake Baikal Holy Nose peninsula several millennia ago was an island, separated from the eastern shore of a narrow strait. Time, Baikal gale, and two rivers - Small Chivyrkuy and Barguzin gradually filled the Strait of sand and silt, securely linking the island with the mainland strip of sand and transformed the Strait into the bay with the current name Chivyrkuisky.
The proposed tour is interesting because it combines fishing on rivers: Tompuda Big Chivyrkuy, Small and Large Cheremshany with traveling on a small boat along the eastern shore of the lake.

Big Chivyrkuy, stack Barguzinsky ridge and dropping into the northern part of the bay, has a wide and flat valley with gentle slopes, entirely covered with thick scrub and forest. The river is one of the fish rivers and the bay flows through Zabaikalsk National Park . Here, in many lives goldilocks and grayling, is the largest in the Spawning salmon from Lake Baikal, and in the mouth of the river are breeding different species of wild ducks.
Tompuda River, from the Yakut word "Tompo" - whirlpool, originates at an altitude of over 2,350 meters above sea level and flows, mostly in mountainous areas, and downstream - a quiet and winding river. Northern Transbaikalia, where it flows - it is legendary reserved places, one of the few on Earth, where almost untouched nature. Fishing on Tompuda interesting and varied: grayling, goldilocks, burbot, and in the lower reaches of: a large pike and perch, and numerous "pits" and stretches meets a beautiful and strong fish - trout.

Program:
Day 1:  Meeting in Ulan-Ude and moving (305 km, about 7 h) on a minivan to the town Monakhovo with a stop for lunch. On arrival in town - the loading on a small boat, and about 2-hour shift on one of the most picturesque places of Baikal - Chivyrkuy Bay to the mouth of the River Great Chivyrkuy. Here the instructor smash a small fishing camp, where participants will tour the next 3 days.
Days 2-4: Fishing on the rivers Great Chivyrkuy, Large and Small Cheremshany inflatable motorboats: for 2 fisherman and guide in the boat.
Day 5: Up early, breakfast and transfer by boat to the mouth of the river Tompuda (about 9,5 hours), passing Barguzinsky Reserve. Overnight on board.
Days 6 and 7: Fishing from boat, motor boats or from shore (on request). Stay on the boat (2-3 people in cabin).
Day 8:  The rise in 4 hours in the morning and 11-hour crossing to the village Monakhovo, then m / bus to the village of Ust-Barguzin (about 42 km, 1.5 hour trip, the road is very bad) to stay at the guest house, bath, dinner, rest.
Day 9: Departure to Ulan-Ude (270 km) in the a / port (railway station) 

Recommendation: Before the trip it is desirable to be vaccinated against tick-borne encephalitis

Ship "Faithful" (project Yaroslavets): length 22 m, width 4 m, draft 0,8 - 1,2 m, speed of 16 to 21 km / h, range of autonomous swimming up to 1000 km, the restriction on the wave - 2 m, capacity - 16 passengers, there is a bathroom, shower.
Rescue Equipment: 2 raft of 10 seats, the boat with an outboard motor.
Communication and navigation equipment: radar, sonar, satellite system to locate the ship, ship-to-ship radio.
The team captain, engineer, sailor, all with long experience sailing on Lake Baikal.
